Not to be melodramatic but all good things must come to an end. That's right Fringe fans this is the end of mine, and maybe yours, favourite sci-fi series.
Well a full week has passed since the final two Fringe episodes aired. FOX and fanboys said goodbye to the beloved and always brilliant sci-fi series.
The second last Friday night of Fringe has past, bringing the sci-fi series closer to it's end. All the puzzle pieces appear to be in play and its just a matter of time before the final fringe event is solved.
Only a few episodes remain and Fringe continues to ramp up the excitement leading up to their 100th and final episode. Like in most television series coming to their end there is a combination of emotions riding high and characters saying goodbye.
Walter drops some acid, sees Tinker Bell, and then goes all Monty Python.
A fist fight that defies the laws of physics, electrical implants at the base of the spine, and now a sweet older black lady with the ability to see into the future (who people just happen to call the Oracle).
Fringe is again taking another page out of the Wachowski's Matrix playbook as Peter goes further down the rabbit hole.
Like many viewers that saw last week's Fringe episode I was curious what was to come of Peter after he put Observer tech in his body.
People say nothing is stronger than love, but revenge is a pretty damn close second.
Some unexpected emotional highs and lows this episode gave viewers everything from some classic season one style sci-fi, to bold story leaps, all leading to a twist ending.
