After a week off due to March Madness, we had our annual special Wednesday episode of Survivor, and what a spectacular episode it was! There was individual immunity, team reward, both teams going to Tribal Council, an immunity idol in play, and a questioning of a Survivor legend's legacy.
Sorry that this comes the day of the NEW Lost episode but I've been busy. So: Sawyer. I don't know about you but this episode really left me unsatisfied. Only because: what did we learn?? I'm not going to write a long one here but I'm posing that question because perhaps I'm expecting too much.
The leadership of Sabre has brought on more changes to the Scranton branch, not just in procedures and policies, but also in workplace attitude. As the sales staff have been given a greater importance in the company, they have also displayed it in their attitude towards everybody else.
The Top 12 brought us songs from The Rolling Stones on Tuesday night, and here's how things went, followed by a rundown of Wednesday's results...
I have to go present tense here, because I always recap as I watch it, even though a lot of this happened in the distant past of yesterday.
Michael has a history of being the polar opposite to every person that has managed him. In the case of Jo, she finds Michael's lackadaisical and unprofessional behaviours to be inappropriate, and counterproductive. As Jo has set the example of working hard and doing overtime, Michael has little reason to not mirror her work ethic.
Loved this episode. Besides maybe "Lighthouse", best one so far this year. "Dr. Linus" has always been the best character on Lost thanks to the incredible Michael Emerson (and if he doesn't win an Emmy I'm going to blow my gasket!) and we got a full episode of him.
Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains - Knights of the Round Table

Despite a reward challenge where James almost had to leave the game because of a mysterious leg injury, things were pretty much the same in Survivor-land. The Heroes proved to be pretty much anything but heroic once again, and the Villains were once again working as a tight unit -- at least during the challenges, that is. Oh, and Russell "knighted" Coach.
So who's eliminated, on this, the last chance before the big stage?
1. Katelyn. Which is just great, because now I have to spend the rest of this season with these talentless hacks and not one of them is remotely relatable to me. Whatever. She was better than this the whole time.
2. Todrick, which is a shame because he is so gorgeous and interesting.
Ryan seems particularly punchy tonight, so let's get on with it, shall we?
Lee is first tonight, with like, I don't know, Nickelback's take on Owl City? So, "Fireflies," which I don't like on its own because it is boring and derivative, but which sounds especially hideous here without at least the fun bleeps and bloops.
We're gonna be whipping through these kids in just an hour, so brace yourselves.

Katie Stevens! Kelly Clarkson! "Breakaway"! I already have whiplash! Vocally, it's... not as strong as I would expect from Katie. Flat flat flat. Also...
