Posted by: Paul Little  •  April 9, 2010 @ 4:30am

I'm coming off a bit of a cold/flu thingy, and now we're right in the heart of the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, so my apologies if this is a little short this week. There's lots of great comedy to check out (and later write about) -- but I want to get this up tonight for you party people, so here goes!

Tonight's episode of Survivor: Heroes vs.

Ohhh, the Lennon/McCartney songbook. Remember the first time they did that? Will we have any similar moments tonight? ...Perhaps if I can get my DVR to cooperate. Ah yes, there we go. (There was no sound. And no, I did not have it muted.)

Oh good, so I'm especially stream-of-consciousness tonight.

Lost: The Package

My excuse for lateness this week (the night of) is that I moved houses. That's a pretty good excuse. So, not a lot of time, but here is what you should know:

Los Angeles Timeline: Jin and Sun are pregnant, like before (ie. other timeline) but Sun is shot somewhere in the stomach at the end and might lose the baby...

Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains - I'm Not a Good Villain

Posted by: Paul Little  •  April 3, 2010 @ 3:43am

Well, there's one thing for certain after this week's episode of Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains: viewers either loved this episode or hated it. When two alpha players the likes of Boston Rob and Russell end up on opposite alliances, it's going to result in a messy confrontation, and that makes for entertaining but polarizing television.

American Idol Season 9: Top 10 Week

You guys, I just do not have patience for bad music tonight, so these kids better do well. Let's go!

Usher (who has a new album out this week; coincidence?) is mentoring for R&B/Soul week. Usher is kind of boring -- not as a musician, as a person.

Siobhan is our first performer this week and she is nervous to meet and sing for Usher.

I don't know if I'm the only one, but I'm going to throw this out there: in Season 1 I guessed they were in purgatory or hell. Either way, that they were dead. I'm sure there were thousands of people guessing this but it makes me feel good that I was kind of, sort of, at least close.

The Office: Happy Hour

Posted by: Lawrence Lee  •  March 27, 2010 @ 5:55pm

When Pam set Michael up on a blind date with her landlady, it ended in a disaster. When Michael ended up dating Pam's mother, it too became a disaster. In Happy Hour, it comes off as ironic, that Pam would dare to set Michael up another time. As predicted, Michael made himself look like a fool, especially with his obnoxious clothing and behaviours.

Supernatural: Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid

After five weeks of hellatus, Supernatural goes thriller in this week's episode.

This week begins with a zombie emerging from his grave in the stormy night while a biker is nearby in his trailer watching, what else but an animal documentary on tv, of course. The biker hears a sound coming from outside and opens the door to check but sees nothing.
