All right, it's Shania Twain Week here in Top 6 Land, and I hope somebody sings "You Win My Love." It's my favourite. So many singing into a hairbrush in front of my bedroom mirror memories for me. Wait... actually, I hope no one sings it.
Welcome to motel hell.
The show starts in classic Supernatural style with a cop investigating an abandoned building, for what reason is never made apparent, looks around for a few seconds and notices the motel begin to fix itself when he is surprised by the bellhop.
Since Erin made her debut on The Office late last season, not very much has been revealed about her character, except for the surface obvious. A year later, she finally gets an episode that revolves around her. In Secretary's Day, her more vulnerable and weird side is shown. She stated her necessity for trust, and has firm beliefs of what a relationship should be like.
Your very dedicated recapper is very tired and it is very late and Alicia Keys, my all-time non-favourite is here mentoring, so things may be a smidge punchy and/or short this go-round. Also: Idol Gives Back, which is sure to make me vomit with happiness. Or inspiration. Since this is "Songs of Inspiration" week. I may need some toast to get through this.
4 episodes to go! Right? This episode was pretty okay but definitely not even close to a favourite. To me, and this has been true of many of the recent episodes, it was a set up/get out of the way episode.
After five seasons, Supernatural has its 100th episode and I am expecting a lot from this pinnacle moment in the series.
Apparently not even angels are safe in a time of recession and Zachariah hasn't been making his numbers on account of the Winchester brothers as he moans on about his job to someone in a bar.

With apologies to Paul and anybody who reads these summaries/reviews, I submit this double-recap. You know, it's just been busy LAUNCHING MY NEW BOOK and I haven't had time to write them. So, to catch up I'm going to have a bit of a discussion recap, rather than a review, because I'm still trying to figure out what's going on and how it's all going to end.
Will this season ever have a bad episode?!? Each time something happens that makes it seem the next episode is going to lose some momentum, something crazy happens, and this week was no exception. Were the previews from last week right? Could JT be as stupid as it seemed? Would Russell continue to control Heroes vs.
The Top 9 (again) will delight us with Elvis Presley songs tonight, guided by dear Adam Lambert. This is the one time in my life I'm thankful for Glee, because its return means that the performance episode can only be 90 minutes long. PRAISE BE.
Adam, unsurprisingly, wants to be honest but constructive.
"Must be hard being the vessel of heaven and having no hope."
Sam and Dean are speeding down the highway, obviously being chased by something or someone. Sam is bleeding badly when Dean spots a fiery roadblock up ahead and makes a hard stop. The demons catch up, leaving Sam and Dean caught in the trap.
