The Lonely Island -- the comedy collective featuring Saturday Night Live star Andy Samberg and SNL writers Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer -- recently released an album featuring a mix of past SNL Digital Shorts and a host of new songs (many with guest vocals from stars like Jack Black and Norah Jones).

At only 26 years of age, Aziz Ansari has already accomplished quite a lot in the world of comedy. He's won accolades for his stand-up comedy, including the Jury Award for "Best Standup" at the 2006 U.S. Comedy Arts Festival.

Last year, I had the opportunity to sit down with stand-up comedian Sugar Sammy before a string of shows at Rumors Comedy Club in Winnipeg. He was touring the country promoting his debut CD, Down with the Brown.
The North American* Genius Monkey Comedy Award is given to a comedian -- sketch, stand-up, and/or improv -- who is on their way up. It's not necessarily given to the absolute funniest comedian working today, as it's not an award for someone who is incredibly well-known to the general public.

I'm pretty sure we're required by some sort of cosmic law to post this info. You see, The Lonely Island (Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, and Akiva Schaffer) -- the dudes behind the hugely popular SNL Digital Shorts -- are releasing an album on February 10th.

If you have not yet picked up Mr. Hodgman's book, More Information Than You Require, I highly recommend you do so now.
Yes, I realize this is being posted a day late. Yesterday was Thanksgiving up here in Canada, and with that came lots of turkey, pumpkin pie, family... and forgetting to post this week's late night guests! My apologies for that.
Sorry about missing last week. By the time I realized this oversight, it was already mid-week, and the post would've been nearly pointless. But here we go again with another week of great late night comedy and some potentially great interviews.
First up, of course, is the list of who you don't want to miss no matter what.
Nothing beats a browser freezing right before adding a post! So to make sure I still got these up before most of the Monday shows aired, there's no explanations for who you should check out this week. But trust me on these ones...
Okay, so we're going to try something new this week. Aside from listing who's going to be on the various late night talk shows throughout the week, I'm also going to give you my picks for which guests NOT to miss.
