Though he was supposed to break his sire bond with Elena, things didn't turn out exactly as planned.

Episodes that deal with a mad bomber are always fun to watch, especially when the bomb blows up. Bombs force the show out of the formula of resorting to negotiation, and de-emphasize the humanity of the criminals behind their destructive intentions.

Flashpoint: Fit For Duty

"Fit For Duty," was one of those episodes where not shooting the bad guy right away actually made sense, as shooting him could potentially hurt the victim. In the case of this episode, the victim was a little baby, who had been kidnapped by a musician who was going through some fugue state.

Review: Killing Them Softly

There is a part of me that wants to write a two sentence review for this movie: "Killing Them Softly is fantastic! Go see it." Leave it at that. My reasoning? The things that make this movie so engaging, so unique, and so fascinating, could almost sound too off-putting or esoteric in a film review.
