Winnipeg Comedy Fest Interview: New York-based stand-up comic Phil Hanley

Stand-up comic Phil Hanley has had a great last couple years since moving from Vancouver to New York to take his comedy career to the next level. He's appeared multiple times on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, as well as shown up on John Oliver's New York Stand-Up Show on Comedy Central.
Every year, a host of comedians from across Canada (with a smattering of Brits and Americans) descend into the spring melt of Winnipeg for a week of TV galas, theatre shows, club dates, and live radio recordings.
The snow hasn't melted away for most movie-goers (north of the broader that is), yet the summer movie scene is already upon us.
"Yet mom's hardly in the story."
So how did you feel about the way How I Met Your Mother concluded? After nine long seasons, we finally got our answer. Was it worth the wait? Consider how the show went on for too long, and how it seemed like the latter seasons really dragged its foot on the reveal.

It's safe to say, this was an above average year for movies. I can tell because I had such a tough time narrowing down my list to only 10 picks.
That stiff golden boy they call Oscar had his list, so why can't I? That's right film fans, I'm back for another list to count down my favourite flicks from 2013.
