The prolific John Mellencamp returns with his 20th studio album as a man with a lot on his mind and a heavy heart. Fortunately for all of us the world over with heavy hearts, there is such a thing as blues music.
Here, the former Mr. Cougar has mastered all manner of blues styles, from Southern blues, to folky blues, to blues rock.
Who's it going to be, folks? With a Top 10 consisting of a mere two singers I don't care for, my chances of a happy ending tonight are limited.
It's David Bowie night here in Top-10-Land, and Zack's in silver eyeliner... so you can guess how this is going to go. The set's been redesigned as well.
For diehard fans of Fox's So You Think You Can Dance, Italian singer/songwriter Elisa is nothing new – the title track of her North American release, Dancing, was featured prominently on the third season's Top 20 episode in a Mia Michaels-choreographed piece.

Are you ready to meet your Top 10?
Is it really going to be only 10?
Up first to hear their fate, it's Martin and Mark from Monday, and Gary and Drew from Tuesday. Mark is through (boooo) and Martin is not (phewf). Gary is not through (aww, but not surprising); Drew is (yay!).
This is bittersweet for me. Most of my favourites are playing tonight, but I know that (allegedly) three of them will get booted, and there are only two I wouldn't miss (the girls, of course).
Ben's still overexaggerating the Top 10 thing, so I'm holding out hope it's not true.
Ben talks so much in his intro about Top 10 this and Top 10 that, that I'm convinced they're faking us out and scaring us into thinking six people are going home this week, and then it's totally only going to be four and there will be a Top 12 and everyone will be happy.
