Two Crows for Comfort are a Manitoba folk duo (with roots and country leanings) who spend a good chunk of their year touring around North America with their dog in tow. The incredible harmonies and storytelling from this real-life couple are up there with some of the best duos making their style of music anywhere on the planet.

Full disclosure upfront: the first stand-up comedy CD I ever purchased and listened to multiple times over was Demetri Martin's 2006 debut, These Are Jokes. I bought the CD while on a road trip to Minneapolis to see a concert, and listened to the album multiple times on the 8-hour drive home.

Submitted for your approval... Five strange and horrific works of cinematic depravity, the total running time of which would make a lovely line up for a li'l Halloween film festival.

My advice? Why not lock the door, draw those pesky curtains and dig into that massive bowl of candy yourself. Kids aren't getting enough exercise these days anyway.
