There's a new wave of Canadian comics living in and gaining success in the United Kingdom. One of the stand-ups doing quite well in the motherland, to the point where he now lives in London, is Pete Johansson.

If you frequent your local comedy club, you've probably seen Darryl Lenox perform live, as he's been making the rounds across the United States and Canada for years. He's established himself as an insightful, ambitious, and hardworking comic, and while you have to keep your brain turned on to really enjoy his sets, it's most definitely worth it.

Montreal-born Kevin McDonald founded the sketch comedy troupe The Kids in the Hall in the mid-80s with Dave Foley, whom he met while training at the iconic Second City in Toronto.

The 2011 Winnipeg Comedy Festival began this past Friday, April 1st for the start of its 10-day run of mostly stand-up comedy (with a little bit of sketch, improv, and theatre) throughout the city of Winnipeg.
World of Warcraft is a place on the internet where lots of drama occurs. On the surface, it is just a game, but to Sheldon, it is more than a game. To him, it is his on-line alternate life. In this alternate life, Sheldon has spent a huge amount of time leveling up, and collecting virtual items. It comes as no surprise that Sheldon would react badly when he was hacked.
The interviews. The rehearsals. Backstage segments. Countless recaps. The biographies. Celebrity special appearances. Product placement. The judges. The scores. The voting. The ridiculously long commercials. And worst of all, the elongated elimination segments that attempt to build tension and suspense.
What the hell just happened? That is the question that will be lingering in your mind when you exit the theatre after being sucker punched by Zack Snyder's aptly titled new film. The highly stylized director of 300 and Watchmen fame brings his now standard unique vision to the screen once again.
Imagine a pregnancy without stretch marks or swollen feet, without cravings or contractions, and without wearing muumuus or getting morning sickness. Sound too good to be true ladies? All you need is a human easy bake oven from an alternate universe.
