Live Review: Kiss & Shinedown

Posted by: Randy Hazzard  •  July 29, 2013 @ 6:34pm

You wanted the best, you got mediocre at best. The most redundant band in the world- KISS.

I first saw them in 2000 during their Farewell Tour. I remember it so vividly. I was sixteen and I believed every word they said. Paul Stanley promised to play all night. I thought I was going to be out until four in the morning considering they had such a large back catalogue.

It hasn't been easy to ignore the disapproval that has been brewing online since the Cannes debut of Only God Forgives, the new film from Drive collaborators Ryan Gosling and director Nicolas Winding Refn. People have gone so far as to call the film "one of the worst ever made".

Review: Red 2

If Jason Bourne didn't take himself so seriously, he would have fit in with the RED crew. If the Expendables worried more about stories and less about resurrecting dead careers, it would resemble the RED series.

I would much rather see Bruce Willis continue in the role of Frank Moses over John

McClain.

Live Review: Alice In Chains

Posted by: Randy Hazzard  •  July 9, 2013 @ 7:33pm

It was devastating news in 2002 when I learned of Layne Staley's passing. He had so much character, angst, and emotion in his vocal delivery. True Blood: At Last

Posted by: Andrew Burns  •  July 8, 2013 @ 8:08pm

"At Last", the title for the latest True Blood episode, is a reference to a whole bunch of stuff coming to fruition. Maybe its because of the shorter season this year but True Blood isn't wasting any more time with set ups.
