My pick for tonight: Hey, the grown-up shows start this week, and it looks to be an exciting season on House. And oh, will you look at that! It's our favourite show of the past year.
First of all, I hope you all checked out Kevin Pollak's Chat Show last night (or at least the embedded Rob Corddry interview in last week's listings). If you haven't yet, you're seriously missing out on some funny an interesting conversation.
Last week was also, of course, the first week of the new Jay Leno Show.
After two years of horrible experiments gone wrong (Ryan Seacrest hosting "in the round" in 2007; five reality hosts handling the duties last year), the 2009 Emmy Awards were an entertaining show hosted by the always funny and charming Neil Patrick Harris. The bits were mostly winners -- especially the Dr.
Last night was the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards -- hosted by the hilarious and talented Neil Patrick Harris -- and of course there's coverage of that show and its winners here on our site.
This episode was slightly better, but I still finished the (approximate) hour off feeling cheated. One thing I forgot to mention from the season premiere is that when Cas comes back from the dead he laid his hands on the boys and left them with runes engraved on their ribs.
