But first, let's see that group medley.
As an avid fan of 80s hair bands for a number of reasons including the emotional highs of power ballads, the bombastic choruses, and, most importantly, clean, high male vocals (the cleaner and higher the better, at least for this subgenre of metal), I was quite anxious to see what the newest Night Ranger album, Hole in the Sun held.
Let me just preface this by saying that this episode put me in a bad mood, and I blame Ben Mulroney. I don't know what's up with him this season, but he's extra irritating, instead of the usual annoying-but-he's-ours endearing type of irritating. He's all pause-y and twitchy and stumbly and blinky and... distracted.
Emmy nominations: Mad Men, 30 Rock, and John Adams lead the pack

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the nominess for the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards on Thursday morning. Critically-acclaimed darling Mad Men, airing on cable channel AMC, took in 16 nominations including Best Drama and Lead Actor in a Drama Series (star Jon Hamm).
The Basic:
From the time Batman Begins ends to where The Dark Knight starts, you see Gotham on its way out of the gutter. Batman's presence has made police more confident and criminals more cowardly. Gotham has a new beacon of hope in District Attorney, Harvey Dent. Though things are looking up, you need a spark to start a fire.
Hey, Project Runway's back tonight! And it's in an earlier timeslot. Don't fret if you miss the first airing, though. It'll be on again, I'm pretty sure. Also, Project Runway Australia can be found v. v. easily at Youtube, for the mo'. They're only two episodes in, so you can catch up in less than two hours, if you can't get enough of PR.
