The Office: Niagara

Posted by: Lawrence Lee  •  October 9, 2009 @ 10:31am

The series' main storyline reaches its conclusion, in the episode where Pam and Jim finally get married. This episode had a very romantic comedy feel to it, that included everything that could possibly go wrong, and more: a torn scrotum, self-centered family members, one-night stands, a torn veil, and a pregnancy.

VIFF Review: That Evening Sun

Posted by: Mark McLeod  •  October 9, 2009 @ 4:10am

Abner Meecham (Hal Holbrook) has seen better days. At the age of 80, having lost his wife and unable to care for himself, his son has placed him in the care of old-age home. VIFF Review: 65_RedRoses

The Big Bang Theory: The Gothowitz Deviation

Posted by: Shane Hallam  •  October 7, 2009 @ 8:34pm

It was as if my plea were answered. The Big Bang Theory had an episode that once again expertly integrated all of the characters in a manner which was fluid and compatible. How I Met Your Mother: Robin 101

Posted by: Shane Hallam  •  October 7, 2009 @ 7:54pm

This week's How I Met Your Mother was one of the series' rare missteps. Robin and Barney's relationship is becoming increasingly emasculating for Barney, as he is becoming nauseatingly sweet and doting towards Robin, detracting from his usual obnoxious and chauvinistic hilarity.
