Abner Meecham (Hal Holbrook) has seen better days. At the age of 80, having lost his wife and unable to care for himself, his son has placed him in the care of old-age home. Suffering within the system and determined to spend his final days elsewhere, he packs his bags and leaves destined for his old home, a family farm just outside the city limits.
Imagine knowing that unless a miracle happens, you will be dead within two years. In 2007, that was the situation facing then 23-year-old Eva Markvoort. Born with Cystic Fibrosis, a disease that affects the lungs, causing them to fill with mucous and making it harder for those inflicted to breathe, Eva was in rough shape. Due to the condition itself, patients are isolated from others.
The problem here is that I'm so far behind on dancing shows. Which leads me to the real problem: this is why you can't have dancing shows in the fall.

CTV The Vampire Diaries
Picture a chic suburban luau block party: Stepford wives and sexy landscape boys, playboy husbands and rebellious teens... all dressed in coconut bras and grass skirts, cooking a giant pig over a pit.
It was as if my plea were answered. The Big Bang Theory had an episode that once again expertly integrated all of the characters in a manner which was fluid and compatible. The Wolowitz and Koonthrappali portion of the plot was typical yet engaging in its pertaining to the two undersexed physicists' quest to conquer the realm of sexuality using any means necessary.
This week's How I Met Your Mother was one of the series' rare missteps. Robin and Barney's relationship is becoming increasingly emasculating for Barney, as he is becoming nauseatingly sweet and doting towards Robin, detracting from his usual obnoxious and chauvinistic hilarity.
There you have it. We finally got what we've been waiting for, many of us for the entire ten years. On Sunday, Curb Your Enthusiasm finally integrated the entire main cast of Seinfeld into the episode as part of a season-long story arc.
